On 6th April 2011 Pure Power Systems and UPSL joined forces to run a seminar offering a unique learning and networking opportunity for those involved in specifying UPS systems for mission-critical applications.

The session included a presentation given by Liam Tracy, Managing Director of Pure Power Systems, and Mike Elms, Sales Manager for Uninterruptible Power Supplies Ltd. Key areas covered during the presentation included:
- Key decision factors to consider when choosing a UPS
- How to maximise system availability, efficiency and flexibilty
- How modern UPS systems can reduce your energy bills
- UPS modularity
- Case study examples

After the presentation delegates had the opportunity to view demonstrations of the PowerWAVE 8000DPA & PowerWAVE 9000DPA and discuss any technical queries with Ian Jackson, Pure Power Systems' Technical Director, and Justin Lucas, UPSL's Technical Support Manager.
Finally, delegates had the chance to join a free tour of the Aviva Stadium. This included viewing the practice area, changing rooms, the tunnel and finally standing by the pitch.
