TSI/VERSO Changeover Panels

The changeover system in a generator is key to its operation in being able to take over supplying electrical energy from mains power supply in the event of a mains failure. A generator changeover mechanism comprises a switch (referred to as a changeover switch), plus mains detection and automatic start up.

Uninterruptible Power Supplies Ltd offers two distinct, high-quality generator changeover panels: VERSO and TSI:

VERSO is not only a changeover switch, it also features integrated mains detection and enables automatic start up and operation of the generating set in the event of a mains power cut. This control unit uses a motorized switch using a 4-pole system, with voltages from 208-440V. It is designed to allow cables with even large cross sections to be easily connected. The control unit can be opened via the front panel and both side panels, providing easy access to the terminal connections. Direct access to the main setting controls means that it is simple to use and any possible configuration modifications can be made easily:

• Automatic switching from mains to generator.

TSI generator changeover panel is the latest technology panel for applications where transfer of mains to a generator is crucial for the running of installations. It automatically configures when voltage is sensed from the mains side. The AUTO key configures type of use, grid voltage, and min/max thresholds for voltage and frequency. Straightforward and easy to use, the special feature of this module is that it is automatically configured when voltage is provided from the grid side.
