Packaging

The MINIpowerPLUS is available in either tower or 19in rackmount form. MINIpowerPLUS TOWER is an aesthetically designed unit for siting alongside workstations in an office environment. It is available in four slot 5kVA and four to eight slot 10kVA versions. MINIpowerPLUS RACK is suitable for mounting in 19in rack systems alongside or close to servers. It is available as a four slot 5 kVA model.

MINIpowerPLUS rackmount - additional features and capability

This format provides additional features to increase reliability and communication with management systems

  • Patented battery test function to spot problems before they become failures

Extended Battery Options

MINIpowerPLUS can support very long battery autonomies by adding batteries to meet operational demand. Redundant battery configurations are also possible.

  • Expansion with integrated batteries or standalone battery units, for the most compact implementation possible
  • Full load battery standby time to eight hours with rapid recharge
  • Battery autonomy can be customised using battery kits, avoiding wasted capacity, space and cost
  • Battery redundancy for guaranteed continuity of supply can be built in for critical applications

Available in either PC Tower or 19in rackmount format, MINIpowerPLUS offers many flexibility features to profile the UPS to your exact requirements.

  • Single or dual tower, or rackmount
  • One 1.25kVA UPS board type fits both tower or rackmount versions
  • 1.25 to 10kVA capacity by adding boards
  • Battery options for autonomy and redundancy

Easy management of redundancy, capacity and demand growth

The power capacity of either the tower or rackmount form can be incremented 1.25kVA at a time to meet increasing capacity demand or to maintain n+1 redundancy . The plug in board common to both forms allows zero downtime with no set-up or calibration requirement.

  • Redundancy of critical circuits ensures highly reliable boards
  • 1.25kVA increments allows 'rightsizing' of UPS for efficient operation
  • Automatic redistribution of critical load in the event of a redundant configuration board failure
  • Plug in boards can be changed or added with no downtime or interruption to load

MINIpowerPLUS's design ensures that the critical load is well protected from mains- or UPS-generated power problems as well as interruption to supply.

  • 200% overload for 5 seconds without bypass intervention
