UPS Installation and Commissioning Overview
An uninterruptible power supply must be properly installed and commissioned to ensure a long and trouble-free working life. While small, less sophisticated UPS systems simply plug into a standard mains socket, larger UPS systems (typically over 3kVA) must be electrically installed and commissioned by skilled and qualified professionals. Our project team will work closely with you, from start to finish, ensuring your UPS system is installed and commissioned safely, on time and with minimal disruption to your business. We’ll carry out a full site assessment including access, space and floor loadings. We’ll then arrange delivery and placement, arranging special lifting and craneage if needed. We’ll organise all electrical and mechanical work needed. Our factory trained, highly skilled field-service engineers will then commission and test the complete UPS system. They work in accordance with factory-issued commissioning procedures and written method statements, and provide full commissioning certification for warranty validation.
