UPS Sizing and Capacity Tips

You can closely match your installation requirement by selecting UPS frame size, UPS module size and number of modules. The installation requirement itself depends on a number of factors, including:-

•  the maximum possible load

•  the maximum likely load

•  power factor

•  the level of redundancy required

•  Battery backup time autonomy may also be a factor

Remember that the more closely the UPS capacity matches its load, the more efficiently it operates.
